Holly's Heroes

Holly's Heroes : Show and goMaterialDela
  1. The thing about a basketball
    - you bounce it and it comes back.

  2. But life's not always like that.
    It's like the weather.

  3. Unpredictable.

  4. Milwaukee air guitar champs,
    here we come!

  5. -Thank you! Thank you very much.
-Let's get the place cleared up.

  6. -We want to get the vibe happening.
    -The Comets come from California.

  7. -What else comes from California?
    -The L.A. Lakers!

  8. And US dollars! Greenbacks!
    It can all be ours!

  9. We've got to finish here and fit in
a training session before the game.

  10. Grandad said you could help me.
I need some advice on shipwrecks.

  11. -What's the sudden interest?
-Spare time since I quit basketball.

  12. There are plenty around here. The
Loch Ard, the Casablanca, the Bunyip.

  13. -What about the Mahogany ship?
    -Does it exist?

  14. It's just a legend, isn't it?
Some say it's out here somewhere.

  15. -Have you ever dived to look for it?
-Of course. Help yourself to the map.

  16. Take me out there.
The Outlaws are hosting the Comets.

  17. I thought I'd get
    as far away as possible.

  18. -I'll go get my snorkel.
    -Not today. It's bad weather.

  19. -It's a great day.
-A storm is coming. Read the book.

  20. -What?
    -Perfect timing.

  21. -How does she do it?
    -Work's done, in she walks.

  22. If the coach says train, I train.
    I take basketball very seriously.

  23. I'd like to thank the little people
    who I've stomped on.

  24. -Cut it out. We're a team.
    -Bus stop. Five minutes, guys.

  25. Four hours on the bus. They'll
    be tired, hungry, and thirsty.

  26. -We get them with refreshments.
    -Name our own price.

  27. I hope they don't think kangaroos
    bounce down the main street.

  28. It's perfect. And then,
we suck them in with the souvenirs.

  29. Dana Kasprak? Kate McKenzie.
    Welcome to Woolich.

  30. Your weather's not so welcoming.
    Are they storm clouds?

  31. Get the luggage unloaded!

  32. I'm Holly McKenzie.
    Captain of the Outlaws.

  33. We'll all be staying at the boatshed.
    It's just a short walk.

  34. Grab your stuff!
    We're staying at the Boatshed!

  35. -Where?
    -The boatshed.

  36. -Cute name for a hotel.
    -Actually it's a real boatshed.

  37. That's different...

  38. They're expecting a hotel? We're
going to look like a bunch of yokels.

  39. Remember it wasn't my idea
to put them in a shed.

  40. -We really look forward to the game.
-Nice of you to say so, Trish.

  41. Playing in an American league
    is my dream.

  42. There's a coincidence.
    It's their dream too.

  43. Comets! This way! - Sorry...Harley.

  44. -Donaldson.
    -The Third!

  45. I'm Scubi.
Let's move before the rain hits!

  46. Once you get settled,
    I've got an amazing offer.

  47. Genuine Australian lollies...
    Correction, candies.

  48. On sale right here.
Got to keep your glucose up.

  49. We're good. Maddison stocked up
    with candy before we left.

  50. So you're a Lakers fan?
    You like the USA?

  51. Absolutely.
    And I take American dollars.

  52. -Pretty basic accommodation.
-Speak to Kate, she's the manager.

  53. -I'm not impressed, Kate.
    -It'll sort itself out.

  54. We'll be at the game before you
know it. I'll show you your room.

  55. -Excellent. Just in time.
-It's pouring. A guy could drown.

  56. Listen up, people. I've got
    the finest Australian umbrellas.

  57. Made for these local conditions.
    They're only ten dollars.

  58. Who's first? Bargain basement prices!

  59. Thanks all the same,
    but we've got ponchos.

  60. Get your ponchos! Five bucks a shot.
I'm literally giving this stuff away.

  61. Five bucks, excellent value.

  62. Would you pay ten for an umbrella,
when you can pay five for a poncho?

  63. Probably not.

  64. -What are they?
    -Nothing. You wouldn't be interested.

  65. Excuse me, business first.
    - Who hasn't got a poncho?

  66. Did you see inside her jacket?
Those pins would be worth a fortune.

  67. It was good value.

  68. Too wet for beach patrol.
Grab a drink, and meet the Comets.

  69. -Is Joel around?
    -No. Should he be here?

  70. I haven't seen him in ages.
He looked for the Mahogany ship.

  71. He's probably gone home.
Only an idiot would be on the beach.

  72. This is not happening.

  73. Bad luck. They're patching where the
wind lifted the iron off the roof.

  74. -It's not safe to play.
    -We're postponing the game.

  75. Comets, back to the boatshed
    and wait there.

  76. -We'll still play, won't we?
-Not if water has damaged the floor.

  77. We can make that court playable.
Get heaters and fans to dry it out.

  78. -What about the Comets?
    -They think we're hicks.

  79. They'll say we couldn't
    even give them a court.

  80. -I say we try.
    -I'll keep the Comets entertained.

  81. So... How about
    a little souvenir seeking?

  82. I noticed you're partial
    to a bit of gold.

  83. Or maybe treasure hunting. There's
    been shipwrecks along this coast.

  84. Take home a piece of our history.

  85. Golden history
    - from the legendary Mahogany ship.

  86. Ask Max. He's old enough
    to remember some wrecks.

  87. Guys!
I think my guitar is missing again.

  88. -Did you take it off the bus?
    -Maybe. Maybe I didn't.

  89. Gone forever. It's like it's
got legs. I love that guitar.

  90. -I'll help you look for it.
    -Thanks, Scubi.

  91. Okay, so I'm a bit trapped.
But let me show you what I found.

  92. Evidence. It says Portuguese trader
to me. Mahogany ship, I bet.

  93. There's all kinds of rumours
    about the Mahogany ship.

  94. Some say it was sunk deliberately
    - for the silver.

  95. -Or the gold.
-How come experts haven't found it?

  96. Legend says a Portuguese trader went
down off the coast. No survivors.

  97. But thousands of silver, and gold,
    doubloons went down with it.

  98. You could find it. Imagine, the old
wooden chest half buried in the sand.

  99. You go to open it.
    It's rusty. It creaks.

  100. Before your eyes might be
a king's ransom in gold doubloons!

  101. For a small fee, you can be a part
    of the Mahogany Ship Experience.

  102. -I don't think so.
-A once in a lifetime opportunity.

  103. -I won't go outside in this weather.
    -It's just a shower!

  104. Harley, is this it? Play something.

  105. Think of all the hearts
    you've broken.

  106. Think of all the times you've tried.

  107. Because when all the seats are taken,
    you got to stand up...

  108. Johnno, are we going to go
on this treasure hunt, or what?

  109. Five bucks each. You won't be sorry.

  110. -Don't waste the batteries.
    -Aren't shipwrecks under water?

  111. Coastlines change. It might
    not be underwater anymore.

  112. But we've got a pretty good idea
    where it is.

  113. -I use my coastal knowledge for good.
-I never promised we'd find treasure.

  114. Someone hid Harley's guitar.
It was under a pile of boxes.

  115. Everyone hid it.
Come on, you've heard him sing.

  116. All right, people. Let's go.

  117. Anyone for a game of Monopoly?

  118. Come on...

  119. -We were going treasure hunting.
    -Did someone borrow my guitar?

  120. Give it back or be honest and tell
him how you feel about his singing.

  121. You tell him. No one wants to hurt
him. His dad bankrolls the team.

  122. Harley could pull the plug.

  123. Maybe I can tell him
    without hurting his feelings.

  124. Well, good luck then.

  125. -We've done as much as we can.
    -No, we're not finished.

  126. -You want to keep me out of the game.
    -We'll call it a day.

  127. -I can keep working.
    -Trish, I'm locking up.

  128. You've done great, but if more rain
gets in, we'll have to call this off.

  129. -There's a chance we'll play, right?
    -Yes, there's a chance.

  130. Her wood was mahogany
    and down inside her hold...

  131. -Is the game on?
    -Hopefully.

  132. -Is Scubi some kind of masochist?
    -She likes him.

  133. Ship of doom, ship of doom.

  134. You don't want to sail upon
    that ship of doom.

  135. Let me see what else I've got.

  136. I know the game got canned
    and the weather sucks.

  137. But this is the best time I've had.

  138. -What are you doing?
    -I taped your song.

  139. Her wood was mahogany
    and down inside her hold...

  140. I don't sound like that.

  141. You do sound like that.

  142. I'm trying to be honest.
    Nobody else would tell you.

  143. Only madmen are out
    in this weather. Come in.

  144. Get this into you.

  145. -You went looking for that ship.
-I found something, a piece of bone.

  146. It looked really old
and it had these carvings on it.

  147. -But I lost it.
    -Did you get a picture?

  148. I got so caught up in finding it,
    I didn't even get that.

  149. Okay, then.

  150. Draw it. You didn't get proof, but
you could provide a record of events.

  151. And if things are that bad, you'd
better turn them around, hadn't you?

  152. Anyway, who said science was easy?

  153. ...wind gusts of over 75 knots.
    The State Emergency Services-

  154. -estimates 20,000 households
    are without electricity.

  155. Damage is likely
    to exceed 5 million dollars.

  156. Yesterday's storm was the worst
    in over one hundred years.

  157. -Wow...
    -You said it.

  158. -Great day for a game. Are we on?
    -I don't know.

  159. So much for treasure hunting.
We're really here for the Pan Pacs.

  160. For sure.

  161. -Doesn't Johnno give refunds?
    -Company policy, he says.

  162. -We want our money back.
    -We're not responsible for weather.

  163. Read my lips - no refunds.
    Company policy. Free lollies? Candy?

  164. This isn't over.

  165. -Why not give them back their money?
-It's the principle of the thing.

  166. Hey, Maddison. If I could
give you back your money, I would.

  167. -I laid it out on lollies and drinks.
    -I understand. You're a business man.

  168. And business is business.
    It's nothing personal.

  169. A girl after my own heart.

  170. Shame my business is going so badly.

  171. -Are they Lakers pins?
    -Yeah. Special edition.

  172. -Minted for their NBA title wins.
    -Impressive.

  173. I haven't been able
to move a single pin here.

  174. I guess I don't have
    the local knowledge.

  175. Maybe I could help.
    I am a businessman.

  176. -Could you offload them for me?
    -If anyone can, Johnno can.

  177. Thanks.

  178. -We did it.
-Your call. I think it's dry enough.

  179. -You wanted to play, didn't you?
    -You hear that? We're playing.

  180. Our insurance won't let us play
    in a venue that leaks.

  181. -They said they'd fixed it.
    -No other venue?

  182. -We can't play here. The game's off.
    -You can't call it off.

  183. I need this one.
    - Don't tell me what to do!

  184. Please! I missed the first game.
    I need this one!

  185. -We're all disappointed, Trish.
    -What's wrong with you people?

  186. There is nothing wrong
    with this court! Look!

  187. See!

  188. You're ambitious. But with that
attitude, you won't get very far.

  189. -All of them?
    -Every single one.

  190. -Johnno, how much did we make?
    -500 bucks.

  191. 500?
    That's one expensive treasure hunt.

  192. We made 50 off the treasure hunt,
but we'll make 500 off these pins.

  193. They were a bargain!
    Only fifty bucks!

  194. We're practically stealing off her.
    I almost feel bad. Almost.

  195. Thanks, Johnno. It was great
    doing business with you.

  196. What?

  197. -Scubi? Too late to apologise?
    -That should be me.

  198. I was mad. But if you
hadn't hit me with the truth-

  199. -I could've gone on making
a real fool of myself. Thanks.

  200. -You're not a fool, Harley.
    -Not a musician, either.

  201. I want you to have this. Go on. It'll
only disappear again if you don't.

  202. Here, like this.

  203. Key of E. Put your fingers like this.

  204. You're a natural!

  205. -Nice day for a walk.
-You never know what you'll find.

  206. So, a treasure hunt?

  207. -You ripped off our guests.
    -Johnno calls it business.

  208. I scored myself
a new line of Lakers memorabilia.

  209. Maddison! Is she still pushing
    those cheap imitations?

  210. -Imitations? These are official...
-Rip-offs. She saw you coming, kid.

  211. -Okay, let's move it!
    -So, who ripped off whom?

  212. I can't believe it! This is a total
    disaster. She's got our money!

  213. Nothing personal, mate.
    Just business.

  214. Business? We didn't make a dime!

Slacklining, India Art Fair and Clean Bandit
