Holly's Heroes

Holly's Heroes : Double teamMaterialDela
  1. The double-team.

  2. Double the pressure
and push them into a corner.

  3. If the player's good enough,
    they won't get beaten.

  4. They'll just change their game plan.

  5. Real creative, Holly.
Looks just like your room back home.

  6. Home is where the Tall Ferns poster
is. We're sharing for 10 days.

  7. You've still got the fish.
    What's his name?

  8. That's Rusty. Looks the same,
    but it's a different fish.

  9. -You always wanted a pony.
-Or a dog. A cat. Something to hug.

  10. -Your dad said, when the fish died.
-And they kept living and living.

  11. -It took eight years to figure out...
-That he was swapping the fish.

  12. -How's your boyfriend?
    -I don't have a boyfriend.

  13. Yes, the hot one on your team.
    What's his name again?

  14. -No, Nick's not my boyfriend.
    -But he's so cute.

  15. Yeah, he's cute. But he's a loner.

  16. The guys are just my friends.
    They're like brothers to me.

  17. -Brothers, huh?
    -Exactly.

  18. We buy skateboard parts
and put them together. We sell them-

  19. -for three times their value.
And all we need is a hundred bucks.

  20. You never mentioned
    a hundred dollars.

  21. You have to spend money
    to make money.

  22. -We need the cash to see...
    -The Lakers in L.A.

  23. Johnno, Ralph - would you like
to come to my Trivia Night?

  24. -Is it a money-making trivia night?
    -Yep.

  25. I suppose you're looking
    for a quizmaster?

  26. The right quizmaster
can make or break your event.

  27. I'm willing to help. For a fee.

  28. A fee? This is a charity event. We're
raising money for the community hall.

  29. It's an investment. A measly hundred
    bucks could turn into more.

  30. A hundred bucks?
I think I'll do it myself.

  31. Man, this place is different to
Wellington. What do you do for fun?

  32. I don't know. Heaps of things.

  33. -Hey, is that...?
    -Nick. Yeah.

  34. What's wrong with you, Holly?
    He's gorgeous.

  35. He's not exactly boyfriend material.
He does like his bad-boy image.

  36. Bad boy, huh?

  37. Hi, Nick. You remember Sandy?
    From New Zealand.

  38. -How you going?
    -Great. We're getting lunch.

  39. -We're eating sheepburgers.
    -Lamburgers.

  40. -Are you coming?
    -Sure.

  41. -Yes?
    -My name is Johnno Walsh.

  42. You called about a job?

  43. Yes, Mr. Walsh.
    You're younger than I expected.

  44. Don't be fooled
    by this youthful exterior.

  45. I got your business card: "No job
too small, no challenge too large."

  46. -Catchy.
    -Bye, Dad.

  47. -Bye, sweetheart. Don't be late.
    -I won't.

  48. So... What do you know about girls?

  49. Are you free tonight?

  50. Ralph. Give us your best lamburger
    for Woolich's newest visitor.

  51. -Ralph? You remember Sandy, right?
    -Prizes, fun and challenges.

  52. Come one, come all
    to the Woolich Trivia Night.

  53. Hey, Sandy and I are in.

  54. The more teams we get,
the quicker we can rebuild the hall.

  55. How about I get another team
    and we face off?

  56. -Great! Another table.
    -Yeah. Sure.

  57. -So, Nick. Want to be on my team?
    -Yeah, I guess.

  58. I'll be on your team! With Johnno.

  59. Great! We're set. Get yourself a
team, and we'll go head to head.

  60. Sure. I might know a question or two.

  61. -Nerd.
-So why isn't Sandy on your team?

  62. Because she's got her own team. With
Nick. Which is fine. I don't mind.

  63. -Why is Nick on Sandy's team?
-She asked him. Which is fine.

  64. Between you and me, I think she likes
him. Which, again, is fine by me.

  65. -Where is Sandy now?
    -She's helping with Trivia Night.

  66. I printed all the questions
    on a set of cards.

  67. -Thanks, Sonya. Very professional.
-Buzzers ready. One for each table.

  68. That's perfect.
This place is going to look great.

  69. Holly's told me a lot about you.
She told me you're quite the rebel.

  70. I don't care what people think
about me. What else did she tell you?

  71. Not much. We just talked about
    the whole girlfriend-boyfriend thing.

  72. Yeah. Holly says
    you don't have a girlfriend.

  73. -She'd know.
-She says you're a bad boy.

  74. I don't agree. I just think
you need someone more like you.

  75. We both know Holly
    can be a little...straight.

  76. She says you and the Outlaws are like
her brothers. It's kind of sweet.

  77. Why don't I pick you up tonight?
We'll make a night of it.

  78. Sounds great!

  79. Can you believe it? We're on
    a team with Sandy. Tonight.

  80. -You. Me. Sandy.
-Us. Yeah. Sandy. What about that?

  81. It sounds fun and all,
    but something's come up.

  82. What do you mean?
We've got a date. With Sandy!

  83. Even better. I've organised
two dates. With twins. One each.

  84. Family friends asked me to look after
their daughters. They're new in town.

  85. -Really?
    -Yeah, really.

  86. Tonight they've got the house to
    themselves. I promised we'd go.

  87. -Wow! But what about Sandy?
-Treat 'em mean, keep 'em keen.

  88. Where's Sandy?
How long does it take to get ready?

  89. You don't need to look nice
    to answer questions.

  90. And would that be lip gloss
    you're wearing, Holly?

  91. -Ready to go?
    -Sandy! Quite an outfit.

  92. -Wow. You look fantastic.
    -Thanks. Black's my favourite colour.

  93. Maybe I should have worn something
    different. What am I saying?

  94. It's a trivia night,
who cares what I look like?

  95. -Nick! Hi.
-Hi. I'm here to pick up Sandy.

  96. Johnno. Tell me about these girls.
    Are they hot?

  97. Well, they're very, very...cute.

  98. Come on!

  99. Mr. Crawford, this is Ralph.

  100. Pleased to meet you.
It's an honour to be invited.

  101. Well, come in.
I'll introduce you to the girls.

  102. I'd like you to meet
Johanna, Briana - my two princesses.

  103. -Come on, Dad. We're late.
    -Yeah.

  104. The boys will babysit you
    while Daddy's out. Okay?

  105. -Okay, Daddy.
    -Give us a kiss. Night-night,

  106. I've written a list of simple
    instructions and contact numbers.

  107. -No worries, Mr. Crawford.
    -Night night!

  108. Not happy, Johnno.

  109. Welcome to the Woolich Trivia Night.
    Support your local community.

  110. Amazing prizes are up for grabs.

  111. Get ready for a huge night
    of entertainment.

  112. -Check out the prize table.
    -Hey, Monique.

  113. -Right, Tony? Ten dollars a head.
    -Oh, a rabbit.

  114. -I'd love a rabbit.
    -How old are you?

  115. -Handsome young fellows.
    -Three tickets for luck.

  116. We've got a Trivia Night to win.
I want to win first prize.

  117. I'm sure we can work on that.
    Let's sit down. Table six.

  118. Ladies and gentlemen, take your
seats. We start in five minutes.

  119. We're meant to sit
    with Johnno and Ralph.

  120. Don't blame us.
    Emily made us sit here.

  121. Hey, why aren't
    you guys sitting with Holly?

  122. How is everything?

  123. -I want another story.
    -You've had five stories.

  124. -I want my five stories.
    -No more stories.

  125. Just say goodnight to the fishy
    and sleep tight.

  126. Night-night, fishy.

  127. You owe me. We had a date with
    Sandy, and you organised babysitting?

  128. One hundred centimetre
    plasma screen TV.

  129. Ralphie, what's up? It's easy money.

  130. A hundred dollars
    to watch 5-year-olds.

  131. I could be with her right now.
Talking with her, laughing with her.

  132. The girls sleep. We have the night
for DVDs, Playstation and junk food.

  133. I dunno, Johnno,
this is a pretty big list.

  134. "No water for Briana after bedtime."

  135. And we're not allowed to give Johanna
    chocolate under any circumstances.

  136. Don't sweat it. Everything will be
    fine. They're sleeping like babies.

  137. What is the world's longest river?

  138. -Table one.
    -The Nile.

  139. The Nile is correct. Jacinta takes
her table to a five-point lead.

  140. -She thinks she's so clever.
    -Smug.

  141. Which Dutch artist cut off his ear?

  142. -Vincent Van Gogh.

  145. -Sarah Michelle Gellar.
    -1969?

  146. -One?
    -Soufflé.

  147. Soufflé is right.

  148. Would you like a raffle ticket?
    First prize is a rabbit.

  149. -A rabbit? Who wants to win a rabbit?
    -Give me five.

  150. -Maybe I'll get something to eat.
    -There you go. Thank you.

  151. Okay. Everyone ready for Round Six?

  152. What does WWW stand for?

  153. -Table six.
    -World Wide Web.

  154. Correct.

  155. What was Mark Twain's real name?

  156. -Table three. Mrs. McKenzie.
    -Samuel Clemens.

  157. Correct.

  158. Okay. This isn't so bad.

  159. All right. It's very cool.

  160. Yes, indeed.
    Now pass us the chocolate.

  161. Where is the chocolate?

  162. -It was right there.
    -Johanna can't have chocolate, right?

  163. Who was the
Prime Minister of Israel in 1948?

  164. Oh, that's a tricky one.

  165. -Table 6?
    -David Ben-Gurion.

  166. -Correct.
    -Nice work, Sandy.

  167. Do you think Sandy's really pretty?

  168. -You should tell Nick how you feel.
    -I don't feel...

  169. They're not here!

  170. Johnno!

  171. -Johnno, where's the fish?
    -Um, Ralph...Where's Johanna?

  172. -Briana!
    -Whatever!

  173. Do you know where your sister is?

  174. I'll find the girl,
    you find the fish.

  175. Johnno. I think
I already know where it is.

  176. Look at her mouth.

  177. -Oh, get it out.
    -How?

  178. I don't know. Just negotiate!

  179. Johanna?
Don't take this the wrong way.

  180. -Did you eat the fishy?
    -Briana, where are you?

  181. -No fishy.
    -I found her. The bathroom.

  182. -Fishy went to the toilet!
    -What?

  183. -Fishy went to the toilet.

  190. -You're cheating.
-And no one suspects a thing.

  191. I thought you were the bad boy.
    This is fun.

  192. That's it for this round. Let's take
a break before the final questions.

  193. -Change the questions.
-It took us ages to write them.

  194. Everything's going as I planned.

  195. I know. It's great. But take it
    from me. Change your questions.

  196. -Mr. McKenzie.
-Good of you to join us.

  197. -Johnno and I need a fish.
    -Well, I'm your man.

  198. -Siamese fighting fish, rays...
    -I really need a goldfish.

  199. -I'm a marine biologist.
    -What about Holly's fish?

  200. It's a matter of life and death.

  201. But she really loves it. Her and that
fish. You can't separate them. Sorry.

  202. The judges have checked the scores.
There are two tables in the running.

  210. -What was the question again?
    -I'm sorry, incorrect.

  211. -Table one.
    -Alexander Graham Bell.

  212. Is the correct answer.
    Congratulations, winners. Table one.

  213. -Come on up and collect your prize.
    -An elephant?

  214. Next time we cheat from the start.

  215. -You told her?
    -Bad enough for you?

  216. -I thought you liked me.
    -I do, Sandy.

  217. -I'm not as bad as you think I am.
-Not bad at all. Can't even cheat.

  218. Don't spread that.
I've got a reputation to protect.

  219. I just wanted to
get one over Holly for once.

  220. Yeah.

  221. I'd like to invite Mrs. McKenzie up
    to draw the raffle.

  222. Come on. Come on. Please let me win.

  223. And the winning ticket is...

  224. Number twenty six.

  225. -Does anybody have twenty six?
    -Hey, Nick, you won!

  226. Thanks for coming. - See you!

  227. You know...
    Holly really likes rabbits.

  228. -Nice win.
    -Yeah, you too.

  229. -It's for you.
    -Me?

  230. You. I want to give it to you.

  231. And I would've rather
    been on your table tonight.

  232. Now take it. Before I cook it.

  233. Oh, thank you. I love him!
I'm going to call him Killer.

  234. You know the rules.
    Not another pet until...

  235. Please! I'll feed it lettuce,
    I'll clean its cage.

  236. Wait a minute. I think I know
a way you can keep him. - Emily?

-Dolly doesn't like it in the bin!

  238. -Daddy!
    -What do we do?

  239. Special delivery.

  240. Emily? Am I glad to see you.
    You have to help us.

  241. Mr. Crawford will be home in an hour.
He offered to pay 100 dollars.

  242. I thought I was ripping him off, but
    it's not enough, there's chocolate...

  243. -Relax. I'm here to help.
    -You're the best.

  244. -For a fee.
    -What sort of fee?

  245. One donation to the Community Hall
    fund. Let's say 100 dollars.

  246. Johnno... Take the deal.

  247. You shouldn't have to sleep outside.

  248. It's not fair. The fish was allowed
    to sleep in here.

  249. So, "absolutely nothing"
    between you and Nick?

  250. Well...

  251. Maybe you should
    tell me straight next time.

  252. -Sorry.
-I'd never go for a guy you liked.

  253. -And you do like him, right?
    -Yeah. I do like him.
